Happy christmas!

Saturday, December 18, 2010

A couple of weeks before christmas vacation, we animated on projects that the CGAs (the computer graphic artists class) for two weeks. The CGAs in my group got the task of remaking the style of "Clockwork Orange" and making a trailer of it. We were four CGAs and mainly four animators working on this, but since we lost a couple of scenes we also had some help from a couple of awesome people in our class. It was a challenging couple of weeks, but it was so much fun at the same time. They did a really good job on putting it all together, and this is the final result.

And just for the sake of some personal artwork.

.... and Happy Christmas everyone! Hope you'll have a good one~

Something I drew last week. Really like her character, might just have to take it to the next level soon and animate her.

Been pretty busy with 3D animation lately (which I will be posting up soon enough!), but I still have a bit of time to make a few sketches.

Since school started again we've been doing basic 3D animation. I'm really enjoying doing 3D animation. It's quite different from 2D animation, but it's been great so far. We've been at it for a few weeks now, so figured it was about time I posted something up here!

First year exam

Saturday, June 12, 2010

So the first year is already over! We just had a week of exam, and this is the result. We got a storyboard for it, and the task was simply what you see; he was supposed to take the last towards the chair, turn on the tv, sit down, get bitten by the dog and jump in the air because of that and then settle quickly and look back at the dog. Was a really good week for animation.

A couple of sketches I drew yesterday. My sketchbook doesn't have the best paper for watercolors, but I think it worked out alright~ The lines on the left guy are a bit hard to see, might ink that one later.

Just wanted to put up a couple of animations! The five weeks before the easter break we had Fabian Erlinghauser from Cartoon Salloon here as our teacher, it was just the best. I'll really miss him as a teacher. We went from doing head turns and the take the first week to being able to lipsynch pretty well in the last two. We've been learning insanely quickly, and it's pretty much thanks to him and a bit of hard work. Thanks Fabs! The first animation here was just the task to make a take, with hogarth from The Iron Giant. Was a lot of fun to work with.

And the next animation was from the 4th week, my first lipsynch ever, and it was such a blast to do. Love character animation~

e've also tried doing some intbetweening. Not my best work, but again; it's good to have tried it! We started the week with getting to know Boris, though all we got was a simple model sheet. So those of us who hadn't seen "Balto" had quite a challenge, but it was a lot of fun getting to know this guy~

And here's for the inbetweening I did:

Clean-up week

Thursday, February 11, 2010

In the second week of January, we had clean-u with Lee Huxtable, really nice guy and teacher. My arm never hurted so much from just drawing though, but it was good to get a shot at it!

We had to put together a few pages of sketches from the past semester, so I scanned the sketches I liked and compiled a few of them. Enjoy~

Polar bear hug

This is for a weekly challenge I'm holding with my boyfriend. We started this week, and I came up with the topic: polarbear! Inspired by my own polar bear <3
